Wicker furniture made from performance resin
The performance resin is made of recyclable high-density polyethylene resin. It has high strength and resistance to damage. The resin wicker is infused with a leading UV inhibitor and weather-resistant ingredients to ensure that it will withstand the harshest elements. It will not crack, fade, or crack from UV sun exposure. This means that the performance resin wicker is immune to rain, sun, snow, and humidity. Compared to outdoor furniture brands that use UV inhibitors, ours will be less resistant to color change and damage from heat or cold.
Solid teak wood furniture is made from plantation grown.
Although it is rare, teak furniture made entirely from Indonesian solid teak plantations grown from Grade A teak is a fact. This premium teak wood is durable and beautiful in all weather conditions. It’s the same marine-grade teak wood that is used on yachts. Grade A teak has a tight grain and is almost knot-free, while Grade B teak is stained to hide streaks, splotches and knots. Bassett’s teak comes from responsibly-sourced teak plantations.
Aluminum furniture powder-coated
Bassett uses only commercial-grade aluminum extrusions to make the furniture’s inner walls twice as thick as the industry standard. This gives the furniture exceptional strength and resists breaking and bending. Double-reinforced extrusions have support structure ribbing to increase strength in the load-bearing zones. For the unique look of fine furniture, 360-degree welding is used to secure joints.
Super-comfortable and comfortable seating
Our seating support system is flexible and provides maximum comfort. The wicker or aluminum collections have a grid of extremely resilient vinyl PVC straps which attach securely to the aluminum frames. The seating grid provides deep seating comfort, and reliable support is removable for cleaning and can even be replaced. The aluminum-reinforcing structural elements give the seating grid extra support in our performance resin wicker frames. Three fiberglass spring pads enable the movement of the spring lounge chair designs. They allow for flexibility and movement while maintaining their strength over time. The spring pads are attached to the frame using stainless steel bolts and washers that won’t rust. Comparing all of this with our competitors will show that they use only two spring pads. These spring pads are less flexible and last much longer than ours.
